Was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for meditation instructions or hypnotherapy sessions (audio or video) that helps with soothing our feelings as BS? I've read a half dozen books already and have listened to podcasts on affairhealing . com . Looking for material that directly relates with the BS, not the feelings and thoughts of the WS. Even any articles that may exist online that have helped you. Any "go-tos" for you are welcomed. Thank you!

A person I never met in person but only talked to on another blog gave me the precious contact details of the lady who became my therapist and having the information arrived from a stranger who didn’t owe me anything has been a real gift that has made me think humans are not all bad.
This guy helped me enormously during my darkest time and gave me some meditations to download. Unfortunately they are not in English….

For starters - "Cheating in a Nutshell" easy read
For dealing with your own thinking - The Body Keeps the Score - Book by Bessel van der Kolk
1st half or so of the book lays out a lot of good info - the rest is part of moving forward. Not a short or easy read.

I have access to Headspace for meditation, and I've seen ads on TV for Calm. I didn't see any meditations specifically targeted to BE healing from A. I did the 30-day learn to meditate course (and then others). Learning to meditate helped with my thought spirals and to reenter my thoughts when I have trouble concentrating.
I was able to find a betrayal trauma specialist and did therapy with her for awhile. We did the exercises I The Grief Recovery Handbook and a mindfulness workbook.
On YouTube, I found Line Grace has a guided meditation on insomnia that helps me sleep.

I found great comfort in exercise.
At the time I jogged a lot and felt that after the first mile or two the monotony of running simply turned off the brain. Or it would go into some freefall of thoughts, but I would sort-of process them during the jog. At some point it all turns into the body screaming at the brain "this running-thing isn’t natural! Give me a break!" so the mind had to overwrite the body.
I don’t jog like I used to, but I get the same result in long walks, riding my bike and even lifting weights.
I use fly-fishing as a mode of meditation. Can envision golf for the same purpose, and maybe even target-shooting. Actions that require you concentrate on the act you are doing.
Basically any action where your body is demanding a response.
