My wife confessed to an affair with her childhood best friend. I don't know what to do.

I wouldn't be too convinced that she is remorseful. The more I think about it, the more I wonder if this is an act on her part to confuse you while she gets her ducks in a row. I still believe the only reason she confessed is because he left and she was afraid that if/when you discovered the missing money all hell would break loose.

Tomhos, well, you are pretty much hearing the same from all the posters above. Ill add my vote and say that I think they are shooting straight with you.

That said, you have some critical decisions to make. Decisions that, trust me, your entire future happiness hinges on. I am not going to tell you what to do. I am going to encoursge you as to how to do it. That "how" is to show strength. Be decisive. On that note, why the hell are you in the guest room??? Start by enacting the 180 (look it up in the healing library). Read the following to strengthen your resolve:

• No More Mr Nice Guy

• The Way of The Superior Man

Time to prioritize yourself. Her self care is 100% in her.

I can tell you this, resist the call of denial and that siren song can be strong. Rug-sweep/minimize nothing and reject any and all efforts from her along those lines.

Show 💪💪💪
