Watching the Super Bowl? If so is it expensive and hard to stream?
If so favorite snacks?
I am pretty disinterested in football, but it seems the thing to do :)
I am definitely a salty snack person.

Nope. No interest whatsoever.
(In football anyway. Have a lot of interest in salty snacks!)

Done with the NFL after decades of following a usually winning team that didn't do too bad this year either. While I get that there's an audience for this, I can no longer condone the violence that puts so many mens' lives at risk. I'm not just talking about what happens in a game, but the very serious long-term consequences of CTE that the NFL has done a piss-poor job of addressing. I know these are grown men who are making the choices to play the game, but it doesn't mean I have to support it.

A friend and her chef husband have a SB party every year, so I’ll be watching. The commercials are great, but they have already released some of them. (The new Budweiser one meets the standard!!) I don’t have a horse in the game and didn’t join any pools this year, but I enjoy watching anyway.

I’m a huge football fan, but it definitely seems as though some of the conspiracies regarding scripting could be true. There just are too many coincidences. The reffing definitely sucks. I’m a hard pass this year.

Big football fan here, but not a whole lot of interest in the outcome this year. I'm a Cowboys fan (shut up!
) so I can't support the Eagles for obvious reasons, but I'm also tired of the Chiefs. It's no fun when one team dominates, especially with help from the refs. And I'm tired of Mahomes flopping. I'll watch, though, for the commercials, and because I love the game.

I'm also a huge football fan. Steelers!!!!
I am also sick of the Chiefs. Not a fan of Kelce after he screamed in his coaches face. No excuse for that. I don't care if he is Taylor's boyfriend.
If I have to pick a team I will route for the Eagles.
I'm skipping a super bowl party because there is so much sickness being passed around. I will watch the game from my couch. No special food.

Thanks sisoon! Now we have options if we decide to watch!
Chips and queso! Yumm sacred soul. The grocery pickup service I use is offering lots of salty snack deals this week :) that would be great with queso.

I can't think of anything that wouldn't be improved by dipping it in hot cheese.

I'll be watching. I'm a fair weather friend of football but enjoy the social aspect of the Super Bowl. Go Birds!

Well we watched it and are sorry we wasted the party food on that whole event. Not sure what happened to the Chiefs' game but they couldn't catch a break. The commercials were just....vulgar. And what was the one with the boy vs girl football game, sorry I think I missed its message...didn't like seeing gender wars so blatant, we get too much of that IRL. Just glad I'm old enough to remember some pretty good shows.

I was surprised at the outcome. I also thought it would be a close game. It was nice to see somebody different win. I didn't enjoy the half time show but appreciated the effort.
Congratulations to the Eagles and their fans!!! You played a great game and had a fantastic season!!

We went to a neighbor's house. He's Cajun and an award-winning cook and made jambalaya for everyone. It was a lot of fun.
I enjoyed the whole thing, especially watching Mahomes get sacked, sacked again, and then throw an interception, all in quick succession.
I liked halftime. The visuals were great, and then later when I Googled the symbolism of everything, I enjoyed it even more. And Serena Williams? I love her.
ETA: Saw this on Threads and it made me laugh: Seeing lots of "Why can’t the Super Bowl have someone with mass appeal for the halftime show!!" type posts. My brothers in Christ, Kendrick Lamar has 22 Grammys and is the 9th most streamed artist on Spotify. He is a massive mainstream artist. You are just old.
